Accounts Executive

Fish and Fish Group, located in Ghaxaq, are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Executive to strengthen their Finance Team.

 

The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Group’s Chief Finance Officer whilst responsible for:

 

• Recording and posting supplier invoices and payments;
• Raising sales invoices;
• Effecting payments on an internet banking platform;
• Allocating customer receipts and handling supplier payments;
• Handing reconciliations with supplier statements and handling of supplier queries;
• Handling bank reconciliations as well as inter-company reconciliations;
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT and other statutory returns;
• Providing any required assistance with other accounting and administrative matters; and,
• Assisting in ad-hoc management reporting as may be required.

 

The ideal candidate must:

 

• Have experience in accountancy and bookkeeping formalities;
• Have experience using Shireburn Financial Management as an asset;
• Have an Accounts “A” Level qualification as a minimum;
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office Software; and,
• Hold a good command of the English and Maltese languages.

 

This role calls for a mature, organised team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills who is able to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision within a dynamic environment.

 

The candidate will be expected to work onsite.
