Accounts Officer

E&L Enterprises is a renowned company that specialises in the manufacturing of metal structures and related services. They are searching to recruit an Accounts Officer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be a part of the accounts team and will be in direct contact with their clients and their internal teams. S/he will be responsible for:

  • Issuing quotations, invoices and work orders;
  • Chasing debtors;
  • Taking care of monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Preparing bank deposits slips, general ledger postings and statements;
  • Projecting reconciliations via profit and loss reports;
  • Liaising with the bank to issue the bank guarantees on projects;
  • Issuing of Interim Payment Applications (IPA) on major projects; and,
  • Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned to them.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience working in accounts. The candidate will have an A level in Accounts together with good proficiency in Microsoft applications. Knowledge of Sage will be considered as an asset.

The selected candidate must be able to work in a team and committed to deadlines, work professionally and have good time management.
