Business Support Specialist

Our client operating in sales, marketing and the distribution of globally renowned branded food and grocery products, are seeking to recruit a Business Support Specialist to support their ICT department.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Being the first line of support for queries related to ERP, sales order platform as well as business intelligence platform;
• Vetting of profiles in terms of inventory, customers, and vendor modules;
• Continuously cleanse system data to ensure a standard way of inputting information;
• Maintaining and upkeeping of system configuration across all platforms;
• Documenting and upkeeping of company system-related SOPs;
• Leading procedural training pertaining to company systems;
• Monitoring and maintaining of ERP automation;
• Escalating technical issues to the correct channel accordingly;
• Assisting with the implementation of new solutions; and,
• Assisting with the development of common organisational reports.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• MQF Level 6 qualification in Business or IT field;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and,
• Fluent communication in both written and spoken English.

 

The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, with the ability to navigate complex business environments effectively.
