Our client operating in sales, marketing and the distribution of globally renowned branded beauty and personal care products, are seeking to recruit a Category Manager to be responsible for achieving the company’s targeted sales profitability.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Analysing the market and sharing of data for business insights;
• Aligning with category strategies and developing strategies for maximum output;
• Collaborating with suppliers for sales and market share growth;
• Staying informed about competitors and market trends;
• Ensuring adherence to brand Fundamentals;
• Providing post-initiative recaps for suppliers;
• Fostering strong relationships with suppliers for mutual growth;
• Securing budgets from suppliers and managing internal allocation;
• Ensuring impeccable execution of sales plans;
• Communicating category plans to sales and marketing teams;
• Managing category budget and overseeing expenditures; and,
• Placing orders with suppliers and forecast stock on hand.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Relevant experience in a similar position;
• Qualification in a business-related subject that is equivalent to a Degree;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• A valid driving license; and,
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
