Communications Coordinator

Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society are seeking to recruit a Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society’s strategic communications programme, which is designed to effectively promote the Foundation and its work nationally and within its international strategic partners.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing and reviewing the Foundation’s strategic communications plan in line with the organisation’s strategic goals, policies and business plan objectives;
  • Managing the foundation’s brand and image;
  • Designing, implementing and managing a strategy for internal communications;
  • Discussing with Project Leaders and Project Assistants, programme and project-specific communications support;
  • Ensuring that the Foundation’s mission, values and key messages are maintained for all communications;
  • Designing, implementing and reviewing strategies for brand marketing;
  • Managing a digital marketing programme to promulgate the Foundation’s values, message, presence and visibility to the maximum extent possible;
  • Ensuring the provision of excellent logistical support for all events organised by the Foundation;
  • Ongoing review of Google, Facebook and other digital channels analytics;
  • Providing advice and guidance to management on handling external communications in line with the Foundation’s communications strategy; and,
  • Attending briefings and meetings as require.  

 

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have a recognised Bachelor’s degree at MQF Level 6 (subject to a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVETS credits or equivalent*) Management or Communications or Business Administration, or Marketing or a comparable qualification; and,
  • Be proficient in both Maltese and English.

This role requires someone who is ready to travel outside the country as required. The person must have a can-do attitude, possess an eye for detail, and have excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to work to priorities.
