Facilities Executive

Our client, a leading Company operating in the FMCG sector in Malta, is currently seeking to recruit a Facilities Executive to join their team. 

 

Whilst reporting to the Commercial and Operations Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and working closely with service providers for services including security, cleaning, IT, health and safety and catering;
  • Managing projects, supervising and coordinating any service work contracted across all the premises;
  • Liaising and negotiating with service providers for any works, purchases or maintenance agreements in line with financial company policies and standard requirements;
  • Managing the Building Management System (BMS) and the Air Conditioning control systems, including monitoring and update;
  • Establishing and monitoring preventive maintenance agreements;
  • Monitoring compliance to contracts on site in line with company procedures;
  • Communicating and enforcing all security regulations and policies;
  • Managing any administrative tasks such as procurement, insurance, health and safety requirements, reporting on specific events and any other tasks as required;
  • Ensuring cost-effectiveness of projects and processing invoices as per company regulations and procedures;
  • Managing monitoring and maintaining the Access Control system; and,
  • Assisting and participating in the corporate events as planned by the Commercial and Operations Manager.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least three years of previous experience in a similar role;
  • Be in possession as a minimum of a Diploma in Leadership or Facilities Management, or equivalent; and,
  • Be computer literate with proven certificate in ECDL.

 

The ideal candidate must be organised, analytical, have excellent problem-solving skills and can work on his/her own initiative. S/he must be able to plan and deal with unexpected changes on a day-to-day basis and must be able to work with tight deadlines.
