Finance Manager

Our client, one of the leading furniture companies in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing company accounts and investments;
• Producing quarterly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts;
• Managing cash flow;
• Supervising and managing financial department staff;
• Motivating and leading finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback;
• Establishing and implementing financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation;
• Collaborating with auditing services;
• Developing budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports; and,
• Reviewing all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost-reduction opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised qualification in the process of obtaining a degree;
• Previous experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications;
• Fluency in English; and,
• Fluency in Italian as an asset.

A high standard of work ethic with a confidential approach are essential criteria for this position.
