Head of Supply Chain

Our client is a Swiss company with presence in Malta, operating within the pharmaceutical industry. They are currently seeking to recruit a Head of Supply Chain.

 

The selected candidate will be managing and organizing the Supply Chain function in order to ensure delivery date as agreed, optimize material management including pricing and delivery reliability. S/he will be handling the resolution of all operations in relation to the function internally as well as any outsourced issues affecting inventory, scheduling and delivery, by coordinating the associated supply chain processes.

 

The selected individual will be managing quantitative planning and optimizing processes as needed whilst maintaining the agreed budgets. S/he will be implementing strategic activities that focus on meeting growing business needs.

 

The ideal candidate will have;

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field;
• A minimum of 3 years of proven managerial experience in the respective field;
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals; and,
• The ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements with strategic suppliers/contractors.

 

This position calls for someone who has demonstrated leadership skills and has ability to create and maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
