Health and Safety Manager

Our client operating within the manufacturing industry is currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager.


The ideal candidate will be working closely with the Managing Director and will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all the health and safety regulations of the area are being followed;
  • Updating and supervising the regulations;
  • Ensuring necessary training on Health, Safety, Security and Environment;
  • Developing prevention measures to eliminate risks as much as possible;
  • Ensuring that all safety equipment is ready to use;
  • Managing and updating records;;
  • Coordinating and monitoring waste control; and,
  • Performing site visits ensuring everything is in order.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Engineering or Technical degree;
  • A diploma in Occupational Health and Safety;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience working in a related function;
  • Relevant knowledge and experience managing and implementing safety management systems; and,
  • Extensive knowledge about safe working practices, occupational safety, permit to work, works under water and confined spaces.


Good organizational skills are an important criteria for this role. The selected candidate must have a good level of English.
