HR Business Partner

Our client is a market leader in the food and beverage industry. They are currently seeking to recruit an HR Business Partner to join their team.

 

The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Head of HR whilst providing HR consultancy.  The selected candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting the effective organisation design and development for the assigned business areas;
  • Participating in HR Policy design and disciplinary processes;
  • Collaborating with the department heads to manage employer branding and ensuring that actions plans are being implemented;
  • Assisting heads in analysing headcounts requirements and planning resource options;
  • Guiding managers on the recruitment principles and procedures;
  • Being involved in the assimilation of new roles in the assigned business areas;
  • Preparing documents such as negotiation processes;
  • Supporting talent management and career progression initiatives;
  • Coaching the Performance Management cycle;
  • Coaching employees with respect to programmes for career progression;
  • Following the company’s training programmes and defining possible training needs/gaps; and,
  • Being a provider of information, guidance ad support to employees on company policies, procedures and other materials including their employment.

 

The selected candidate will have:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related course of studies;
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a business partnering in a similar role within the manufacturing sector;
  • Minimum of three years of previous specialist experience in the fields of Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits Management, Organisation Design and Talent Development;
  • Ideally experience in dealing with Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations Issues; and,
  • Knowledge in HRMS and office software.

 

A strong business acumen with the ability to lead and translate a business strategy into organization development plans is essential for this role. The person needs to have an assertive personality accompanied by an analytical approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
