HR Coordinator

Our client, a retail company, is currently seeking to recruit a HR Coordinator to join their team.

 

Whilst reporting to the Administration Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating personnel records on matters such as contracts of employment, employment history, leave, sick leave, performance appraisals and training;
  • Contacting employment agencies for hiring personnel;
  • Taking care of the whole recruitment process and any other administration duties;
  • Informing and explaining to employees any new and updated policies;
  • Assigning shop employees to work sheets and preparing the roaster for all outlets;
  • Facilitating the process of coordinating vacation and sick leave approvals;
  • Dealing with all day-to-day employee enquiries and calls in relation to HR;
  • Filing all documents and keeping all files updated;
  • Attending meetings and taking notes;
  • Assisting in the preparation of HR documentation such as employee contracts, warning letters and notices to staff; and,
  • Performing any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous working experience within a similar role;
  • Have related qualifications;
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office knowledge; and,
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills in English.

 

The ability to work within a team as well as taking own initiatives is essential for this post.  The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
