HR Officer – Temporary

Our client, an educational institution, is currently seeking to recruit a Human Resources Officer for a temporary period for one month.


The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with correspondence and enquiries relating to the function of the respective unit under the direction of the management;
  • Answering queries, addressing complaints and communicating decisions and policies adopted by the unit;
  • Offering administrative support to the management/head of department as necessary;
  • Supervising the updating of databases, websites and other IT related systems;
  • Gathering information, drawing up related reports and disseminating documentation to the appropriate channels; and,
  • Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have knowledge of the different HR functions, which will be considered as an asset;
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office knowledge; and,
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English.


The ability to work within a team as well as taking own initiatives is essential for this post.  The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
