Our client Baxter is a multi-international healthcare company. They focus primarily on creating products to treat certain diseases. They are currently searching for an IT Analyst to join their team.
The chosen applicant will be:
- Supporting the IT manufacturing systems to ensure that production IT at the plant is smooth and efficient, actively support initiatives to improve business processes and to provide general/advanced user support;
- Consulting with the GME core team to report bugs, issues, improvements and to develop solutions for the GME ERP system;
- Providing local support training new users in the application specifically in the areas of financial and production reporting and warehouse scanning and shipping;
- Participating and contributing to IT initiative and projects, taking accountability for tasks assigned, creating and keeping documentation up to date for supporting the IT systems;
- Partnering with the business and other IT teams locally (and globally) to complete work;
- Actively identifying, delivering, and improving IT best practices for the team and site infrastructure/processes (in coordination with global/EMEA teams);
- Ensuring that IT systems are stable and in compliance with Baxter standards;
- Supporting and providing technical expertise to end users across the manufacturing and office environment when required;
- Participating when expected in IT related audits and contribute in preparation and remediation activities;
- Analysing, proposing, and leading solutions in line with Baxter standards and procedures;
- Complying with the process environment conditions and current regulations (cGMP, ERES, EHS, divisional procedures and manuals);
- Supporting the procurement of IT equipment for employees, using the appropriate procurement channels; and,
- Participating and leading in local and global corporate IT initiatives/ projects and business processes to improve the day-to-day operation of the plants.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong technical skills, including experience with various operating systems, databases, and programming languages (e.g SQL, SAP, JDE, Oracle);
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
- Advanced knowledge about hardware and software configuration;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and create their work schedules with minimal supervision;
- Excellent troubleshooting, creating, creative and technical problem-solving skills;
- Strong expertise in SQL, including experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Use of initiative and take accountability for their work; and,
- Good communication skills.
