Maintenance Manager

Our client is a unique international air cargo company handling air and ground logistics, aviation services and also maintenance of planes.  They are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to join their team.

 

The chosen applicant will be:

  • Providing analysis of technical aspects of aircraft maintenance condition, reconfiguration, and project timescales to support any project proposals;
  • Managing internal maintenance cashflows for forecasting of the company’s managed portfolio;
  • Managing internal technical databases, aircraft specifications and the incorporation of technical modifications/upgrades on Fleet;
  • Confirming maintenance work scopes;
  • Providing reporting, analysis and management of maintenance;
  • Managing projects ensuring conformity to budget, specification and project delivery; and,
  • Contributing to evolving internal procedures.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An MQF Level 6 in the Engineering field, Licensed Aircraft Engineer or an equivalent experience obtained on the job supported by recognised courses, preferably type training on wide body aircraft;
  • A minimum of ten years’ previous experience in the aircraft industry;
  • Knowledge of a relevant sample of the type(s) of aircraft gained through a formalised training course;
  • Experience with and understanding of the EASA Regulations; and,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

 

Candidates for this role must have a flexible approach, with willingness to support all team members and must have the ability to work on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
