EVOS, offering storage services of oil cargoes to its customers are looking to recruit a Mechanical Technician.

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining various types and sizes of valves and pumps;
• Performing maintenance on essential equipment;
• Ensuring the integrity of pipelines and supporting equipment crucial for their terminal operations;
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment, contributing to their continuous growth and development;
• Operating specialized lifting equipment and other machinery as required; and,
• Collaborating with fellow technicians and supporting various department under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have hands on work experience in mechanical plant and equipment repairs and servicing;
• Preferably possess a Technical Qualification in Mechanical Technology; and,
• Be proficient communication skills in English.

For this role, a strong feeling of enthusiasm to learn and the capacity to adjust to new tools and technologies are prerequisites. The ideal applicant would have to be able to perform well under pressure and in a team environment.
