Marketing Assistant

Our client, Daves Food Stores, is currently seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant in order to sustain their growth.

 

Whilst reporting to the Marketing Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting market research and analysing consumer trends and feedback;
• Creating engaging and informative marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, newsletters and social media posts;
• Assisting in the planning and coordination of promotional events and digital campaigns;
• Updating and maintaining our website and social media platforms on a daily basis whilst liaising with the online community;
• Providing administrative support to the marketing department, such as preparing reports, managing databases and scheduling meetings;
• Ability to perform under pressure in a retail environment

 

The ideal candidate must have:

• An MQF Level 6 in Marketing, communication, business, or a related field;
• Previous experience in a similar role;
• Have good written and verbal communication skills in English; and,
• Knowledge in MS Office, Adobe products and other marketing software and tools, which will be considered an asset.

 

The ideal candidate must be organised, have excellent problem-solving skills and can work on his/her own initiative. S/he must be able to plan and deal with unexpected changes on a day-to-day basis and must be able to work with tight deadlines.
