Contribute to the design, implementation and ongoing management of the corporate IT network including data centers; Gather the requirements and design solutions to meet global network infrastructure needs; Analyze data and define network capacity models and performance metrics; Participate in the creating and maintenance of available documentation regarding processes, network mapping and network configuration; Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events and minimize operational complexity; Perform analysis and monitoring of network availability and performance over expectations and carry out performance reports and statistics available; Interface with internal security team to design and continuously deliver security-related enhancements; and, Perform on-call duties as member of the on-call rotation team and after-hours as required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent; Three years’ experience with layer two protocols and associated enhancements such as LACP, L2 ECMP, MLAG, 802 1d/w/s; Three years of in-depth experience with layer three plus protocols such as IPv4, TCP, UDP; Three years of in-depth experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP; Experience with stateful firewalls and packet inspection and any of the major cloud providers- AWD, GCP, Azure; Extensive knowledge in one or more of the following areas: VPN, IPSec/SSL, Wireless (802. 1a/b/g/n/ac); Knowledge of network management utilizing the standard protocols like SNMP/Syslog; Background in Linux is a plus and experience in programming or scripting in a network; and, Certifications- Arista/ CCNA/CCNP. CCIE in R/S is a plus.
