Purchasing and Accounts Clerk

Our client, one of the leading furniture companies in Malta, is seeking to recruit a Purchasing and Accounts Clerk to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Purchasing and Accounts Managers;
  • Taking care of daily reconciliations;
  • Inputting of inventory records;
  • Inputting of suppliers’ invoices; and,
  • Handling petty cash.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Basic accounting background;
  • Competent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent telephone skills; and,
  • Fluent in English and possibly Maltese and basic Italian.

Demonstrating team collaboration, sourcing expertise, keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills and efficiency are essential criteria for this position.
