Regulatory Finance Officer

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking to recruit a Finance Officer within the Regulatory department.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the compilation and analysis of the banking regulatory returns, whilst adhering to high quality standards and submission deadlines;

• Monitoring financial and regulatory indicators in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Keeping abreast with new regulatory requirements and analyse their impacts on the Bank; and,
• Compiling ad hoc reports as requested.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Working experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking industry;
• A minimum of MQF Level 4 in Accounting;
• Experience working with reporting systems, which will be considered as an asset;
• Experience working with Excel; and,
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

 

The ideal candidate must be organised, have excellent problem-solving skills and can work on his/her own initiative. S/he must be able to plan and deal with unexpected changes on a day-to-day basis and must be able to work with tight deadlines.
