Ensure timely and efficient provisioning of parts, consumables, expendable, and other technical material required for the operation and maintenance of the group’s fleet; Make sure that the transportation, storage, and issue of the materials is done in accordance with the applicable regulations (EASA and CAAI), OEM instructions and industry best practices which will allow efficient and cost-effective provisioning of material to the individual airlines.; Agree and develop a group service level agreement, covering minimum availability requirements, wishes of individual airlines, specific aviation regulations, lease, and operational requirements. Manage the material operation accordingly; Set up an effective pool management program, for routable parts, either in-house of through a third-party maintenance provider to manage repairs and ensure adequate availability at suitable locations; Develop department standards and procedures, ensuring relevant aviation regulations, specific requirements from the SLA and KPI’s are met; Build an annual budget and manage the department’s activities in a consistent manner to ensure a profitable operation. and, Manage supplier network to ensure relevant KPI’s are being met. A master’s degree in relevant field; Proven experience in material management and/or supply chain management; A minimum of fifteen years of working experience; Have completed relevant EASA and/or FAA training; and, Must have proven experience in working with Microsoft Excel and Word.
