misco provides training in Malta Enterprise HR workshop
Malta Enterprise partnered with misco to deliver a training workshop on Recruitment and Selection to professionals in the area. The two-part workshop was created in response to the growing need felt among HR professionals to develop strategic processes of selection. Drawing on 35 years of
experience, misco was invited to share insight into market trends with recruiters in focused workshops organised by Malta Enterprise earlier this month.
“The tight labour market we are currently operating in has highlighted the fact that many companies need to gain more knowledge in designing structured selection processes,” said misco director Joanne Bondin. Participants were coached on several themes inherent to the field including building a successful recruitment plan; principles of recruitment and selection; proper identification of requirements; promotion of vacancies; effective analysis of CV’s and shortlisting; efficient selection procedures; proficiency in conducting interviews; candidate assessment; HR administrative duties; and employer branding.
The course was attended by HR practitioners, managers, and other professionals involved in the recruitment and selection processes within companies operating in a variety of sectors. The workshop topics equipped participants with the necessary understanding and skills to implement successful recruitment processes within their companies. “Recruitment and selection is a dynamic field and it is crucial for HR practitioners to keep abreast of changes, particularly in a competitive labour market like ours” explained Ms Bondin.
The learning outcomes reflected the latest changes in the field, grounded in the extensive and ongoing market research carried out by misco. Most importantly, the course offered participants practical tips and advice on how to achieve more fruitful selection results.
“misco is committed to support and empower HR professionals and we were delighted to share the knowledge and experience our organisation has gained through this collaboration with Malta Enterprise,” added the misco Director.
