EQF/MQF Level 5 Award in Giving Briefings and Making Presentations (5 ECTS)

This course equips participants with the skills and confidence to deliver clear, engaging, and professional briefings and presentations in the workplace. It covers how to plan and structure content based on the audience and purpose, ensuring key messages are communicated effectively. Participants learn how to select and organise relevant information, use supporting evidence, and design simple yet impactful visual aids. The course also explores techniques for confident delivery, including voice control, body language, and audience engagement. A key focus is on delivering concise and purposeful briefings, managing time effectively, and responding to questions with clarity and professionalism.

Entry Requirements:

  • A minimum of one of the following:
    A qualification in Human resources or similar at minimum level 4 (level 5 also considered), as well as an O level standard of English
    Level 4 certificate in Education, as well as an O level standard of English
    MATSEC certificate, as well as an O level standard of English
    International applicants are to have an O level standard of English or equivalent. A proficiency test of the same standard would suffice

This list is the minimum required qualifications – it does not exclude any qualification of a higher level. misco Business Academy will also consider RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning). Any applicant that already has some form of qualifications, at the same level of higher, can apply for the RPL and be exempt from certain units (terms and conditions will apply).
