EQF/MQF Level 5 Award in Job Evaluation Strategies, Employee Rewards, Benefits and Collective Bargaining

This unit will provide the learner with a brief understanding of the job evaluation exercise and ways of how to implement such exercises within an organisation. It will also look into employee reward strategies. This module will also aim to look over the effectiveness and limitations of negotiations and collective bargaining as a structure to reduce and resolve conflict. This is done in respect to the relevant developments at national and European levels. It will also cover the necessary skills and processes throughout the bargaining process.

At the end of the module/unit the learner will be able to:

  • Study the improvement possibilities after a job evaluation exercise
  • Undertake further studies on how to manage progression, promotions and upgrades through grade structures
  • Evaluate the ethics of reconcilliation and meditation in social dialogue
  • Make use of case studies in relation to collective bargaining
  • Measure the scope of collective bargaining locally and abroad
